The Shreveport City Council will be voting on a “private ENDA” on Tuesday, 10 December 2013!! This ordinance would protect people from discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity at work, when they’re buying or renting a home, and in public accommodations like hotels and libraries. Show your support:
- Attend the vote at the 3:00 PM Tuesday (10 December 2013) meeting in the 1st floor Chamber of Government Plaza, 505 Travis Street. Arrive by 2:30 PM if possible. - If you live in Shreveport, sign this online letter of support that will be presented to the City Council.
No one should have to live in fear that they can lose their home, be evicted from their apartment, or denied a mortgage simply because of who they are or who they love. Please share this with your family and friends and ask them for their support as well. Easy to remember: All this information can be found by going to the PACE web site: pacelouisiana.org.
